AT&T Sucks
In their press release, released January 15, 2010 AT&T states:
All smartphone customers, including iPhone customers, may now buy unlimited voice and data for $99.99. For smartphone customers with Family Talk plans (prices assume 2 smartphones), unlimited voice and data is now available for $179.99. Texting plans remain unchanged at $20 for unlimited plans for individuals, $30 for Family Talk Plans.

Which I thought meant: if you have a family plan that has a couple of iPhones your plan would be $179.99 (which includes 2 lines) and then $9.99 for any additional lines regardless of iphone/smartphone or regular phone, you know because they’re calling it an “Unlimited talk and data” plan. Well turns out its really $119.99 and then either $30 each iphone/smartphone or $9.99 for each regular line.
Touché AT&T, the old bait and switch…
